HOW DOES IT WORK?
In a nutshell: You become a member by signing up for a “share” of weekly fresh vegetables from our farm during a particular “season” [Join]. You do not have to sign up at the beginning of a season; as long as we have space available, we will continue to allow signups even after a season has begun (and prices are pro-rated accordingly). We have two seasons: Regular (April-Nov) and Winter (Dec-Mar), with only a few weeks per year when there are no deliveries (see Delivery Schedule, below). Shares come in three sizes, so you can choose one that suits you. To your share you can add “options” like extra fruit, eggs, chicken, bread. YES all our produce is organically grown [Growing
The Crops], and all animal products are only ever from pasture-raised animals [Meet the Faces Behind the Food]. During the season, you pick up your share from a pick-up site convenient to you. We have many locations to choose from; a complete list of locations and a map constitutes the first step in the sign-up process (choose a season and peek!).
Once you are a “member”, you will have your own account which gives you access to numerous features such as current information about your share (what all you are currently subscribed for; when your next delivery is scheduled; your pick-up site’s name, day, time, address, directions, and map); historical information (a complete record of payments made and deliveries received, including that of prior seasons, if you have been a member in the past); the ability to add to your subscription, change your pick-up site, and make payments; and a special member-only benefit: the ability to order items through our Web Store (seasonal farm produce in bulk, and specialty items from local producers) and have them delivered with your CSA share.
Currently (Fall 2011/Spring 2012), every member must sign up anew each season. In other words, being a member one season does not guarantee your membership for subsequent ones. However, plans are in the works to transition in Fall 2012 to an “ongoing” style membership -- i.e. a “Year-Round CSA” . We are very excited about this! Once that’s in place and you sign up for it, you will never have to sign up again! You’re a member ‘til you cancel. We will keep you posted.

WHERE DO I PICK UP?
Most of our pick-up locations are at member's homes in your neighborhood (we do not deliver to your door); some are at local businesses that support our CSA. From our farm in Watsonville we deliver all the way up into the mid-peninsula, down through San Jose and on South into Morgan Hill and Gilroy, through the Los Gatos/Campbell area, and from Ben Lomond and Scotts Valley through greater Santa Cruz, all the way down the coast to Monterey, Carmel and over into Salinas. As mentioned above (if you were just scanning headlines and missed it!) we have MANY locations to choose from; a complete list of locations and a map constitutes the first step in the sign-up process (choose a season and peek!).
