Live Earth Farm is a small family farm growing a large diversity of vegetables and fruit on over 75 acres in the beautiful Green Valley nestled along the southern foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains near the Pacific Ocean. The moderate coastal climate of the Monterey Bay allows us to farm year-round. Since 1996 we have been a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Farm committed to growing the most delicious, beautiful, high quality organic vegetables and fruit the land has to offer. We treat our farm as a living organism, and believe in developing a deeper connection with the earth, the community, and environment around us.

 

We invite you to join our farm and connect with the land and the people who grow the food by becoming a CSA member, and participating in our educational programs, Community Farm Days, u-pick events, and hands-on workshops. We also offer our produce at local farmers markets, an on-farm stand, and recently we have expanded our market to include local restaurants, businesses, schools, and organizations interested in purchasing directly from us.

 

Education about the earth, natural growing practices, and connecting people to the earth that feeds them have always been a central part of Live Earth Farm. The farm has hosted interns and apprentices since it’s start in 1996, and over the years has built a platform of educational programs and events which today is formally under the umbrella of our food education non-profit Farm Discovery,  which “uses the farm as a classroom” for integrated learning about sustainable agriculture, food practices and environmental health.
